A PIECE OF BYRAM SCHOOL HISTORY AVAILABLE FOR SALE
The glass blocks that formed the principal’s office
and were preserved from the demolition of Byram
School on the corner of Siwel Road and
Terry Road will be for sale for the first time at the
Swinging Bridge 5K Run at the Courthouse Racquet Club on the
Byram Parkway on
Saturday, July 12. Here’s a chance to own one of these
signature features of this Byram Landmark.
A table for the sale of the blocks will be open from 8 AM
to 10 AM during the 5K run. Individual glass blocks will be sold for $50.00
each. There are some blocks still together in multiples
of 2 or more. These will be sold for $40.00 for each
attached block. As the supply dwindles, the price is
subject to an increase. So shop early!
